Environmental Sustainability & “Green” Design

A. I. Design Lab works directly with the client, developer, architects, engineers and other consultants to facilitate consensus-driven goal setting to achieve green design goals, including Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) ratings. We can organize “green” design charrettes with the entire team, also by tracking high-performance strategies using action matrices, and by providing on-going research and coordination to assist the team to implement their goals.

Our other services include working directly with architecture firms and the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) to apply for LEED status, performing calculations to assess design qualifications for each strategy and pursuant LEED credits. A|I Design Lab will provide detailed LEED Credit feasibility studies at each project phase, which include reports analyzing schematic design and construction documents, thereby increasing likelihood of achieving LEED points.
